Let's start from the beginning,
With a pencil and paper,
A single letter,
That blossoms into a word,
Then a phrase,
Then a fragment of humanity.
Let's write a poem,
And inspire a soul,
Relieve the lost,
From confusion and longing.
If we fail,
It's just a page of words,
Columns of text,
That run down a page.
Let's write a poem,
And make a difference,
Inject an iota of hope into this apathetic world.
Let's write a poem,
And tell a story,
Of our existance,
And endless dreams.
