A sprout
Shoots upward
Drip, drip, drip, drip, drip
The leaves opening
As arms ready
For an embrace
Drip, drip, drip, drip
The stem curling
Towards the sky
Drip, drip, drip
The petals opening
Unfurling, spreading
Drip, drip
Its body moves, twists
Trying to find the sun
Drip
Making an effort
To be seen above
The mountainous grass
…
The sun emerges
Shining on the newborn beauty
