I gave you everything
and you spat me lies
Turning the other cheek
Ignoring my desperate cries
When you used to hold me close
Did you think I was a waste?
I felt so safe and comforted
But my feelings were misplaced
Tell me, how did it feel
to rob me of dignity
Stomping on my self worth
Bearing your smug look into me
I actually thought you cared about us
And I thought you loved me too
You abandoned me in a time of need
Apparently the world revolves around you
