Perdition, Farewell
Broken are the shackles that ravaged my thoughts
Gone are the sounds of your voice
That once infracted my chaotic mind
They say all wounds heal with time
But if I had the choice
I would keep this ghastly scar
Incised across my heart
For my memories will eventually fade…
And with this, I will commemorate the choices you made
Every time another seeks to love me as you did
They will be more careful then you my dear
Not to leave
Another scar
