The Tunnel

Starless night.
Black shadows
Hide in the walls
Whispering,
Tormenting,
Choking.
Salty Rain
Flows like fire.
Silver releases red,
Dark eclipses reason.
A smoky shadow
Erases the crescent moon,
Steals smiles, then beckons
From sunny safety.
I ask only one thing:
Flee this life.
There is a song
Driving the shadow home,
Giving the quiet dawn
A melody.
