Roses
Like twisted
Rose petals
falling to the floor
My heart aches
With painful memories
Recalled
New ones
locked in my head
Broken with
Haunting sobs
The picture Isn’t clear
Like twisted
Rose petals
where thorns remain
falling to the floor
My mind screams
Calling out despair
forgive me
Siren-called whispers
Sung in the air
Music will forever play
Like twisted
Rose petals
soft like butterflies
falling to the floor
My body rejects
the newest
transformation
Still it changes
A new mind
Plays with me
As I see
His hand move across
The page of life
Like twisted
Rose petals
Broken and crumble
falling to the floor
Soul inside
Filled in agony
bred by hate
Perfection rebuilt
Only broken
Shattered
once again
Like twisted
Rose petals
falling to the floor
