One Friday
Twas snowing and the sun was blaring light music
Beauty flew in the wind like peace during daybreak
I drove on as flashes of dust whisked by
I glared out the window in spectral awe
 Sparkles drifted through spring
Chunks of fluff covered newborn life
 Silence

Dots of earth colored ice floated below me
I was swimming in the dusk of an ocean
A billion liters of radiance fell upon my domain
Another billion crusted to the sea bottom
 Am I awake?
 Euphoria

Glitter ate my windshield as my stillness became breakable
Even though the sun was dimmed from distance
The shine melted into the bubbly clouds and sticky dark sky
Feathers of a dove invaded a common sunset
Love restored long lost splendor to the dirty world
 Butterfly

 Sweat glowed in the atmosphere
I was a superhero on my way home

 Sugar and salt boil
 Paper and cotton fuse
 Glue and light bulbs burn
 Spearmint and plastic melt
 Snow and I connect

Dear Earth, will you be my Valentine?
