xDance Of Deathx
We’re not able to see, we’re wearing blind folds and aren’t able to agree-
Palm against palm we stay in our still dance of disagreement—
We’re at an impasse, each side we stand---
In the mirror waiting for it to smash-----
Waiting for each sound of tinkering glass------
Our feet stay flat-
They stay immovable on the cherry oak floor—
We make a half quarter turn keeping our fingers still spread and palms still placed----
Our eyes stay stalked and still-
Waiting for one of us to give up our will—
We keep our lips utterly silent---
Until one of us succeeds in being triumphant----
Each of us is being too defiant------
We make another half quarter turn back-
Still hand in hand—
Finger tip to finger tip, we continue our dance---
Eyes locked----
Not giving either of us one chance-----
It’s the dance of death, the kiss of breath-
A deadly defying battle of each their own—
We’re acting like we’re two---
Yet we say we’ve grown----
I cross my foot over yours, you cross your foot over mine-
The clock is ticking to the thirteenth hour-
We’re loosing time-
We keep our eyes locked but our minds blocked-
I take a step back, you take a step towards—
I raise my hand, you raise yours---
I shatter the mirror and you disappear----
Now there’s nothing left for either of us to hear-
