Grandpa
I wish he was still here,
My Grandpa I mean,
He died before I turned thirteen,
I remember we loved going on that motorcycle ride,
But when he passed I cried and cried,
I hated the fact that he was gone,
I remembered all those times we mowed the lawn,
He was always happy and full of smiles,
I loved going out back with him and finding reptiles,
All those swamp monsters turtles and snakes,
All those times we went swimming in lakes,
It's been a while now A year has gone by,
But there are still times I sit and cry.
