All this time
I've been forcing my smiles
And faking my laughs
I've been forcing my happiness
But it's all for selfish reasons
The people around me
They can't see me
I make them like me
By pretending to be (me)
What am I doing
I don't care about anyone
So why am I trying
So people like me?
How they see me
It's not who I am
Maybe all this time
I've been trying to find someone
Who can look past my smile
And see me
Maybe all this time
I've been lonely
