Favorite Quote:
Save me from myself
I can't relate
We're mouth to mouth
And still I suffocate
There's nothing left
Inside of me to break
Save me from myself
Save me from myself
There's nothing left inside me
There's nothing left

Hiding,
In the rafters,
Watching,
From the rafters,
Avoiding you,
In these rafters,
Escaping your penetrating gaze,
In these rafters,
Missing you,
While I'm in these rafters,
Terrified of what you'll think,
If I come down from these rafters,
Petrified you'll stop loving me,
If I leave the safety of,
My rafters...

Well, I originally wrote this because we're having poetry appreciation month at my school, but after I was done writing it, when I read it over, I realized I wrote it to get my feelings of fear out. To me, the rafters I speak of in my poem, is my bedroom. I'm saying, "I'm in my room, and I'm afraid if I come down, you'll look at me, and realize, 'I don't love her. I just pretend to.' My fear of you thinking that, is one of my biggest, most likely to happen, fears of all.
