The Storm
One drop of water
 Falls from the sky.
 That’s all it is,
 Everything else is dry.

 It was unexpected
 And left no trace behind.
 But it has already fallen,
 Just one of a kind.

 But wait. What’s that?
A few more drop crash down.
They’ve come to fill the air,
To rain down on this little town.

 And that’s not the end.
 More raindrops rush past.
 They form high up above
But reach the ground quite fast.

 It’s a wonder that
This storm began with one drop.
 I saw when it began,
 But when will it stop?
