Falling is easy when you’re an angel,
cast out of Heaven like trash,
broken wings at your side,
twisting slowly in the wind,
believing is easy when you’re a child,
openness in the eyes and mind,
smiles in the face of lies,
grasping on to innocence,
breathing is easy when you’re a human,
involuntary intake of air,
brain functions stimulated,
knowing that life continues.
