Death.
It is only a beginning.
A beginning of a new eternal life.
It opens the eyes of those affected,
And, through love, they become infected,
Desiring to live much more profoundly,
In a way, vicariously,
So Love, it never ends,
In fact, because of death, it transcends.

This piece was inspired by the recent passing of one of my all-time favorite instructors. He was a good man, and will be missed dearly.
Written 6.30.11. 5 days after his passing, early morning of his funeral.
