The Boy Named Roy
There was a boy,
Who’s name was Roy,
Who loved to swim.
He loved the lake,
Even though the docks were about to break,
And the day was getting dim.
His mom said he couldn’t go,
And to go play with his cousin Joe.
Together they went to a pond.
Joe fished while Roy swam.
Roy fell from the dock with a BAM!
Of Roy, Joe was not fond.
Back to the house they went,
Their day was spent.
Roy’s arm was broken.
His mom saw his arm,
Roy expected harm.
His punishment was spoken.
Swimming is no more his hobby.
Now he likes to hangout with Robby.
Together they ride.
What they ride is bikes,
On many midday hikes.
For this hobby, he does not have to hide.
