Our eyes touch
In a momentary
Act of adultery
Long stare
When we think
The other isn’t
Looking
Defiant against
The feelings
That are creeping in
I have never
Had such a
Crush before
And it’s starting
To mentally
Hurt
I can deal with
My pain, just
Not my thoughts
And it’s the thoughts
That are transparent
You can see through them
