I hate this part, this
waiting for disappointment, this
waiting for you thing, that
keeps trying to tell me I’m blinking, that
makes me want to scream, when
authoritie tells me to forget it, when
my mind asks me why I started it, why
I did this thing that I’ve hated, why
no one seems to know what to tell me, because
I’m so God-forsaken selfish, because
I’m stupid human, and
nothing in my mind chooses to make sense, and
mothers on the line can’t make me fit in, so
I’m just gonna crawl out, so
I can find something to breathe and make you not hurt me.
