Fear
A woman told me once that fear is doubt.
Not logic.
Or science.
Some say fear can be felt.
Like the moments after a crash.
Or the before you hear the new born baby’s cry.
No that’s doubt again.
Doubting if everyones ok.
And if the baby will ever see the light of day.
Sometimes it’s a bond.
Like fear for a loved one.
Serving our country.
The glue of the family. They cant see.
How lucky they are.
To have one another.
Fear isn’t a object.
A place.
Or thing.
It cant be held.
Owned.
Or contained.
Cant be sold.
Heard or seen.
Its just something.
That lives inside you and me.
