Why so serious
why must you act
so serious around me
youre not playful or funny
rambunxious or free
your eyes can cry
but your lips hold a smile
i can see your mask
and behind it a child
a cackle a giggle
a murmur of pain
you push all who care
that drives you insane
youre the joker until people
see your hearts place
beyond stage make up
youre two faced
why must you act
so serious around me
because i let you see
the real person you turned out to be
i believed you were different
only for a while
but it was all hidden
by your cracked joker smile
