Unspoken Conclusion
Still, silent faces all around;
watching and waiting for the slightest sound.
When I look in the mirror what will I see?
A still, silent, face; or something more me?
Turn around, prepare yourself. With a shocking memory, "When will it end?"
Time to mourn and time to weep, the worst is over yet more to come.
Memories, memories, rushing back, threatening my outer calm.
Tears dribbling down my cheeks, the pain of knowledge and light of acceptance together in my mind as one.
Time for discussion, time for remembrance, fly like an eagle to a better place.
