Trapped in a house behind locked doors
Lay the secrets from the past we
always ignored.
Piled high in the closet with skeletons
and bones,
Leak the remains of feelings we never
once showed.
In the midst of the attic with clutter
and space,
We recognize now words were never
the case.
Stuck in the creaks of the wooden floor,
Remain the love you had that was
never adored.
