Breaking Dawn
I saw her standing in the grass
She was surrounded by flowers
Goldenrod
Dandelion
One drop of rain
The floating pollen drifted around her
Two drops of rain
She sensed fear rushing towards her
Three,four,five drops of rain
Her body divided itself into hotness
Coldness
A softness and a hardness
A trembling and a not trembling
The wind whistled a single note across the black morning sky
All rushing on down around in a spouting roar ,
A rivering stream
Heading towards the morning
A dim light appeared
The little clump of flowers stood alone
Awaiting sunrise.
