To Say Goodbye
I am trapped in a catacomb
 Of unrecognizable affections.
I can no longer decipher the depths
 Of my own emotion.
 Intense confusion has swelled
 To consume the secluded recesses
 Of my heart.
 The love had been unconditional
 In previous days,
 Dangerously blind to obvious flaws,
Though a minuscule second of doubt
 Brought about its indubitable ruin.
 Anxiety, anger, and repressed angst
 Consistently wax and wane,
Varying in accordance with the hour.
 The liquids of grief
 Breached my sorrowful eye
 Even before the lonely fate
 Had been sealed.
