Stars fall from the sky
and melt in my hand.
I watch as they gather
into mounds of white.
I watch as they their blinding light
makes my world around me.

They hold me close
When I lay down.
These specks of light melt away
and return to the floor
of the earth.
Waiting for another
to recognize,
this splended beauty
of the first snowfall.

It snowed today, and I sat outside for a while and watched as they fell down. I love Winter~
