Living Dangerously
You said it's fun to live dangerously,
that nothing bad could happen.
You said drinking was okay,
and smoking was alright.
Cigarrettes and beer was bad enough,
but heroin and vodka can't be beat.
You dropped out of school,
and left the ones who truly loved you.
The fun caught up with you,
the vodka clouded your judgement,
the heroin blinded your senses,
and you drove into heaven.
I hope in heaven,
they don't allow the toxins,
you battled here on earth.
You threw your life away,
the garbage can filled,
and your mind emptied.
I miss you.
