Lost Love
Why do I sit in his dark shadows?
Why do I wait for the light to come?
Is there a door that’s opened?
Is there a door that’s closed?
Do I want to be trapped?
Am I waiting on that day, that special day?
 That I can call him................MINE
I tell myself, I shall not be scared
 I will not fear, but I fear......HIM
 I fear love
Love has cost me half my heart
 It’s gone, all gone
 I can’t touch it, I can’t feel it
 I can’t grab it, it’s gone
Lost in my own direction I can't see
Without his eyes I am blind
 My senses have gone astray
If I fall who will catch me? Who?
The walls have closed in on ME
 No US
US as in me plus you is
 Love? Joy? Happiness? Excitement?
 Hate, Regret, Sadness, Hurt
I will not and I shall not be lost
Guide me, Lead me, and Take me away
 Just not HERE
"HERE" is a place of no return
A beating heart but no soul
That’s not me. That’s not US
Where is it, I can’t find "it"
Love, Love, Love I need love
No sight, No sound, No touch, No taste
 Nothing.................................
We sit in our own dark shadows
We wait for our light to shine
 No door open or closed
We wait, we wait, and we wait
