Grandfather
My Grandfather on the wall
Grandfather clock going “Tick Tock”
I lay here waiting for an end
Feeling my heart enter winter
The last season has reached me
And all I hear is “Tick Tock”
My eyes are seas
So full of water, two small oceans
I laugh, cry, sing and wail
While father goes “Tick Tock Tick Tock”
Summer was great, autumn peaceful
But now my heart frozen over
Angels sing and fire burns
My blood is ice
“Tick Tock Tick…”
