The Lost Lane
Surrounded by silence,
 Bestowed with solitude,
 Looking into your eyes,
 Not a word of gratitude.

 Confused from within,
 Order or a plea,
 Whether I am the master,
 Or destiny rules me

For I am imprisoned into the choice,
 Tomorrow’s sunrise,
 Confined by my voice,
And I choose not to speak.

 But time is gushing past,
 Stammering and staggering me ahead,
Toward the door to my aghast,
 Where all of it ends

I will have to move forward,
For it’s the purpose that persists,
No matter the cause and effect,
 Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Don’t look at me with eagerness,
 I will have to leave,
Be benign to remember me with a smile,
It will be the best, if you believe.

For I am confused from within,
 Order or a plea,
 Whether I am the master,
 Or destiny rules me
