Life is a Web
Life is a web,
A web of constant beginnings.
With the end of one comes a beginning,
never truly ending, never subsiding.
Life is cauldron of darkness,
An abode for all that is unholy.
We are haunted by the truth,
The truth that is our past, present, and future.
We are trapped in an everlasting web,
We are never free, never at peace.
Not even death can bring about our liberty.
Try if you will,
Illusion is all you know.
There is no such thing as freedom,
There is no such thing as will.
Life is an illusion,
Life is web.
You try to escape the inevitable truth,
Only to be tangled within its web.
We are never to leave, never to know truth.
Life is a web,
A web of lies and fear.
You contemplate your life,
You deny the truth.
You fall deeper into the web,
The web that is lie, illusion, and fear
The web that is life.
