Jamaica
Jamaica my home land
On top of the mountain is where I stand
To be closer to jah, he leads me back to my mama Africa
Without him I wouldn’t be alive
I owe him everything, he helps me strive
To build a better community
For the youth to stand in unity
Hand in hand this is our land
Let us show them who we are
Let them hear our cries from far
Jamaica put your hands up
Because we never give up
Just stay away from sin
Bow down onto the mighty king
The world you're living in is dying
Many suffering, more will be crying
Don't be deceived by those who want to please
Face the harsh reality of what was, what is and what is to be
Preaching the truth & teaching the youth
Of Mount Zion and this land being one again.
