"Move on. It's just a chapter in the past. But don't close the book, just turn the page." ~ Anonymous

There is heat in freezing, be a testament
Prove what you can be, what you can become
Be the best of it

Let that jerk get in your way
The one that's completely dim-witted
Just keep your mind composed, collected, at bay

Because at the end
No matter if you tried your hardest
If you won or if you lost
Handed in your project first
If you got that promotion
The trophy
The cash reward
Or even just simple gratitude

For they are experiences;
They could dwell in the rest of your life
Or they might just become blight,
Gone astray in a sea of faint memories

The author's comments:
My dad always tells me to not care what others think because in the end those types of people don't really matter. I must speak my mind and not go hiding in a low self esteem 'shell'. I/Everyone should experience life to the fullest or these teenage years will suck.
