Because I Love You

I do these things because I love you.
You know I do, and I know
You love me too.
Yet you keep pushing me away.
I was so confused,
But now I understand.
I'm turning into my brother,
We've switched places.
I try my best to keep you alive;
To keep you safe.
But you keep making it so difficult,
Almost impossible.
You're driving me crazy.
I just want you to admit it.
Admit you love me, say it out loud;
And to admit that you can't do everything on your own.
You need to be protected
And you just need to let me protect you.
