When the thunder rolled
in your sky
I got scared
I grabbed a picture of your face
and held it
tighter than life,
before
I knew
you
I wanted you.
God, you wanted
me
too.
So you can have
me.
Take me,
use me for anything.
Anything, I don't care
as long as you use me.
Lord Jesus,
when I was
itsy
bitsy
you
knew
ME.
A
tiny
girl
from
Illinois,
who was
always
scared.
You took me
in,
gave me
a
promise
that will always last.
You promised me a crown
in Heaven
when I die,
You made me a princess.
I am
the daughter
of you, Father, the Most High.
