Bleed For you

You are much like a gash in the middle of my heart, an open wound that will not heal, a nuisance of an itch that never fails to do anything but persist, an unavoidable feeling, a temptation or desire at which I must indulge. And just as my wound begins to close, the pecking itch becomes intolerable. I scratch the surface, removing the slowly healing skin, and reveal my tender tissue... as I bleed for you.
