A House Divided
A house divided is no longer a home.
None stand together,
So are we all alone?
One side against the other.
Its turned into a war.
A lust for power,
An unspeakable greed,
Both sides are fighting, just to be right,
But is there really a need?
All is in shambles,
Yet they refuse to come together.
Is this truly what we stand for,
or can we do better?
Some painted in red,
Others showered in blue.
Much of this facade is just for the glory,
Not about what should be done.
In the end it doesn't matter.
All of us are the same.
We all want better
So this bickering is a shame.
Our ideas are different, and that is okay.
Perhaps if the hatred is gone, we can come to agree.
For a house divided is no longer a home.
If we don't come together,
We WILL stand alone.
