Weary
My insides burn me
My skull is charred
My stomach is hurting
I am broken and scarred
Everyone's so far away
I can't feel anything
What is night, and what is day
And what will each bring?
Sorrow fills my weary soul
I can't try anymore
You want to make my family while
When it's obvious there's a war
There's nothing that can fix us
My mommy says it's my fault
Just think well of her, have trust
And everything right will be the result
It's not me though
It's you
I don't know where to go
I don't know what to do
Words don't work
When no one will listen
My voice doesn't even make a mark
On anyone present
Only my art
Truly let's me speak
Little grievances short
Show where I'm weak
Just let my weary spirit
Pour out what little is left in it
