Sometimes
I see those smiling faces
Those delighted souls
Those laughing entities that are not completely alone
Sometimes I envy them
Sometimes I feel more alone than ever
Sometimes I act like I don't care
Sometimes I break down, lose my composure
That carefully crafted Venetian mask shatters
Revealing my identity
Sometimes I can find all the shards
And put the mask back together
Sometimes I feel happy
Sometimes I can take off my mask
And show people a true smile
And the real me
