The Impossible

Is it bad to dream?
Can't a person have some hope?
A little bit of happiness,
to drag them through the rest of the day?
Is it a crime to chance it?
Like a game?
Who will get hurt but me?
Why is life the hardest dance to learn?
All you truly need is a friend,
some one to help your dreams
become reality
and say "Go for it"
With a smile tacked on the end of each word
Someone who believes
in you:
the impossible
