I Believe
You think it’s done, it’s all gone.
That the sun has left,
But the day’s just dawned.
Feeling helpless,
like you’ll never succeed.
But I know better
And I believe.
You think it's over, you’re finished off.
You tossed and turned,
This one you lost.
But I know better,
And I can see.
That you aren’t broken,
And I believe.
You fought your battles,
But still you fall,
The more you do,
You lost it all.
But you know better,
You just can’t see,
The good potential,
And I believe
The lullabies,
Can’t help you now.
You want to cry,
You want out.
You need a hand,
To pull you up,
You’re drowning now,
You’re always stuck.
But I know better,
And I believe,
In all the beauty,
In you I see.
You may not see the good,
But it’s still there.
Think of my lullabies,
‘Cause you’re still here.
