Secrets and Lies
The girl cries uncontrollably; silently and still,
The hot tears spill down her face but she tries to prevent this with the power of will.
She is alone, she is hurting; she is in pain,
Trapped within four walls, while outside; people are laughing and dancing in the rain.
She fell through the cracks, the mirror is broken,
There's a demon inside and it has been awoken.
Anger burst through her, the change occurred,
One moment calm, the next she was angry which was just absurd.
She looked at the mirror; at the hole she had made,
She traced each crack and the uncontrollable anger began to fade.

The girl watched silently as red ran down her hand, she shuddered at the sight of blood,
She began to feel feint and fell to the floor with a thud.
She looked at the floor to notice a glass shard,
Gingerly she picked it up and squeezed it quite hard.
As the tears rolled down her face and she bit her lips, she brought it to her wrists,
She dug the shard in and dragged it across, as the pain hit her, her hands rolled into fists.

As the blood flows red,
Her mental pain goes away,
The physical, stays.
