Never understood, never felt…
Thousands, sometimes millions
Screaming boys and girls-mainly the later
Sometimes sitting but more often standing…
Shoulder to shoulder, waist to waist, toe to toe
A wave of body heat entangled with the music
The vibrations, the beat, the heartbeats
Admiration…tilted necks
Focus on their object of desire
Hidden messages behind their screams
“I want to be with him/her!”
“I want to be like him/her!”
Conscious wishful thinking
The crowd’s awareness (of the above)…at least that’s what I hope for
Anyways—
Now
