The warmest
Are also the coldest
The loving
Are
Most hateful
And
Passion is war

Nights are the
Brightest
Cannot love
Without pain
Cannot see
Without strain

Sight is loss
And
Holy is
Equal
To the ugliest

Joy brings
Sadness
Of
Inevitable
Imperfection

The one you cherish
Is the one
That
You ignore
The "favorite"
Is always alone

To get, you give
To live, you kill

The brain
Is
our guide
And our
Worst
Enemy

Sleep is
Rest-LESS
And
Within darkness
Lay the
Shiniest

Well done. You see the truth that most people tend to miss.

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”

the line i love most in this poem is "Joy brings the sadness of inevitable imperfection" i don't why but it kind of spoke to me. anyway keep up the good work.
