Once upon a time
Once upon a time I desired to be
Like that ones that tormented me.

But someone awakened my imbecilic mind
To the voice that would help me unwind
From the dangers of that predictable path
Where I would fall under deceptions torturous wrath.

No one understood what I wanted to alter
Until the original appearance began to falter.

Forgive me for never wanting to cry every day
For the preyish life that always came my way.

So I took what little I was given
And now my life is a hell I have to live in.

I won't ask you to forgive
The way I wish to live
Because even though I knew it to be wrong
You act as if my life is a sad love song.

Never again will I allow you break me down
 With your never ceasing frown
Because I love how I've grown
And the life I was thrown.

Understand me when I say this
No ones life will always be sweet bliss
But enjoy the precious time you were blessed
Because you never know if you'll live out the rest.

So once upon a time I was blind
till someone awakened my innocent mind
to the reality of the world
 where I was eventually hurled.

 Don't follow my bad representation
because their will be no good justification
  for the life of sin
that you will eventually fall in.

 Remember me as a sign
 to follow that white line
 into salvation road
or you will reap what you have sowed.

Once upon a time... I knew that what was mine.
