Contradictory Beings
The only thing that has ever really been there for me,
Is not at all my property.
It was someone else's hopeful song,
An anthem to encourage,
An inspiring chord or musician's story.
The only person that's always been my friend,
Always meets an end.
She was a heroine, strong and brave,
A narrator with passion and drive,
A witty prince with a princess to save.
For some reason everyone lets go,
And leaves for reasons I may never know.
When they aren't imaginary,
When they weren't just thought up,
They lose.
They gain.
They love.
They hate.
They destroy.
They create.
If they aren't real,
What they do can still effect you,
but not in the way real people do.
