Silent Longing
Oh beautiful ones smiling at me,
How glorious you are.
Through darkness you shine your light,
Your teeth are a shimmering jewel.
You who dance above the clouds,
With soft footsteps trod.
Your laughter is silent to all.
Only those who listen will here.
Lights of silver in black ice,
I want your joy and peace.
You shine for all to see,
Though few notice your presence.
Hear me oh shapes of love
Comfort my restless spirit
Triangles swallow my sorrows,
And send them to glorious ears
Flames of glass hear my voice.
I long to be with you.
Let me fly into the sky,
And glorify the maker of all.
