A Potential Sun

Seemingly slow
The earth
Hurtles through
space around
the center
of our
solar system:
the sun.
Bright and
shining, it
lights each
and every
one of
our days,
365 days
each year.
The sun
Is central.
Shining bright,
Holding fast.
Oh, how
I wish
That I
Could have
The potential
To hold
One-tenth
Of the
Worth and
Importance that
The sun
Has.
Turning ever
So slightly,
Every hour
It is
Constantly changing,
Never the
Same, always
Shifting. Full
Of light
And heat,
It provides
All we
Need to
Experience life
And be
Happy.
