Burrito Bonita
Come to me screaming in a blow horn,
Stare at me, and wake me up;
Come with eyes like tortilla;
Come back with bells,
O brain bring back my Taco Bell.
Oh dream how crunchy, too crunchy, too bitter crunchy,
Whose wakening should have been in my bed,
Where souls of Doritos with love abide in the meat;
Where Mountain Dew quenching glazed over eyes
Watch the slow door, 99 cents sign and all
That opening, letting in, lets out my Burrito Bonita.
Yet come to me in dreams, that I may come mild yet spicy
My very life again tho’ microwaved in seconds:
Come back to me in bell of tacos, that I may give
Meat for meat, cheese for cheese:
Speak low, lean meat
As long ago, my love, Burrito Bonita.
