"Forget." said my brain.
"Don't look back." said my eyes.
"Don't hear the betrayal." said my ears.
"Wave your last goodbye." said my hands.
"Walk away right now." said my feet.

"Hold on." said my heart.

A very close friend of mine recently quit speaking to me, and the way I could best express myself was through the pen. I believe that poetry comes from the heart, so the only time I ever write it is when I feel inspired to. Otherwise the words are meaningless.
