Broken
I am broken.
 Irreversibly so
 My pieces
 barely stay together.
 I am shattered
 like glass,
 thrown to the floor
 and left there.
 I am lost,
 trying to fight
 he left me here
 all alone.
 I am dying,
 my heart torn out
 It was in his hands
 he dropped it.
 I am destroyed
 by something new
 that was once so sweet
 now seeks my demise.
 I am in love
 Even though
 he abandoned me
 Broke me.
 I am broken.
 It’s all his fault.
 He said “Love”
 He lied.
 I am a stranger.
 Lost to myself.
 Slowly slipping.
 Losing ground.
 I am dead.
 Nothing inside.
 Demons devoured
 My soul.
