He Saw
She walks the halls with her shoulders slumped, and head hung low.
She doesn't talk, for there's nothing to be said.
When she smiles, it's so no one can see through her mask.
She sets her wall high, to block out intruders.
She was truly invisible.
Then he came, and he saw.
He bombarded her heavily guarded wall. When he did, he saw the pain she hid so well. He saw the lies behind her smile.
He saw her.
